The Black and Blue Hearts

We all have black and blue hearts.  Beaten, broken, bruised and sometimes ripped in half.  Someone else's emotional damage isn't something visible on the outside and it's easy to forgot to approach our fellow humans with empathy.  The Black and Blue Hearts banner is a symbol of unity that holds together our damaged individual hearts and our too often divided societal hearts.
